Or plastic greenhouses
Ryan McBeth mentioned in his video (13min) them not disclosing receiving funds from a foreign backed entity was, indeed, the legal issue.
Magnetic field ≠ electric field
The issue often is that, just because it’s outwardly frowned upon, it doesn’t mean it won’t happen behind closed doors.
Which isn’t to say any of your relatives are bad people, but a culture where speaking up is frowned upon encourages victims to hide their abuse.
It does have back buttons, which is why it’s unlikely to launch in the west as Scuf (owned by Corsair) is a major patent troll when it comes to those. That’s also the reason for the original Steam controller no longer being released.
The Hori one is launching at the end of this month, if I recall correctly. I might look into importing it once it does.
People have caught onto what they really mean by “anti-sjw”, so they’ve moved onto the next buzzword. And then the next, and the next.
Whatever it takes to keep their plausible deniability in front of the media that they aren’t simply racist. Gotta keep that mainstream appeal.
It’s the latest anti-sjw boogeyman
Ah, like so. I thought you were referring to the article on the Patreon website with your initial comment, rather than the article in the post itself.
You’re right, the article is wrong. “Gross revenue” makes no sense.
Which is contradictory to the first line of the linked essay.
Is it though?
Current sign-ups are likely through Patreons own payment system, which will stay as it is. It would be like signing up in the web version, then going on to use the iOS app. That wouldn’t suddenly subtract 30% from a payment Apple has no control over.
On top of invalidating the lived experience of a cis-woman because this Olympic boxer with more muscle than most men looks kinda masculine in some pictures.
So much for the “we can always tell”.
It’s a double whammy of bigotry.
It certainly went over my head
Was clicking on the article to check really too much of an effort to you?

But to do that they’d have to be not-inept though
Which surely couldn’t have anything to do with underfunded schools, book bannings, and sensationalised news.
Especially considering buybacks used to be illegal.
No points for guessing which president legalised the practice.
Nordic Games bought what remained of THQ back in the day when the latter went bankrupt. (THQ used to be comparable to the likes of EA and Ubisoft before they made some poor decisions)
The holdings company behind THQ Nordic rebranded into Embracer some years ago.
Fortunately, the remake is being made by THQ Nordic.
How is that fortunate though?
THQ Nordic, the company which became Embracer, bought Piranha Bytes, shuttered the studio when they fucked up, and is now using their IP for a remake?
Piranha Bytes GmbH was a German video game developer based in Essen. It was best known for their Gothic and Risen series of role-playing video games.

Embracer has reportedly closed Elex developer Piranha Bytes
:/
True. But as long as that isn’t the case, may as well fix the wording and raise awareness.
