I just want to say that anyone who looks upon these actions and thinks that they are good has no interest in peace, but rather wants only the satisfaction of revenge.

Even if your aim is a free Palestinian state and you place no value on Israeli lives, it doesn't take much of a brain to realize that these actions are incredibly counterproductive. Countless Gazans are going to die during the inevitable Israeli retaliation as a Palestinian state slips even further away from possibility. There is no world in which Israel allows a Gaza that kidnaps and murders civilians to exist.

The fact of the matter is that peace will never come until Israel feels that it can safely exist, and attacks like this make that impossible. Supporting these attacks means that you have no interest in peace, and that you simply want to watch Israelis die, because that is the only real effect they have.

And if that is you, at least have the balls to say it rather than hiding behind a bunch of handwavy bullshit.

Anyone who celebrates murdering and kidnapping civilians is absolute garbage.

I would add that that's exactly what the Hamas idiots are counting on. They can count on Israel to overreact, because Israel, and the moderates or peaceniks of Palestine will be forced to fight.

This is the best summary I could come up with:

During the surprise assault on Israel by Palestinian militant group Hamas Saturday, gunmen opened fire on hundreds of young people during a dance music festival in the southern Israeli kibbutz of Re'im near the Gaza Strip, according to the Associated Press and multiple Israeli media outlets.

"The music stopped and there was a rocket siren," a young woman called Ortal told Israel's Channel 12, according to Reuters.

Haaretz, one of Israel's largest newspapers, described the scene as a "massacre" and a "battlefield," and reported that terrorists on motorcycles drove into the crowd "opening fire."

Another party attendee, Esther Borochov, told Reuters that she had to play dead until she was rescued by Israeli soldiers.

Videos showed Israelis racing across vast open fields and taking cover in orchards.

At least 232 people have been killed and 1,697 wounded in Gaza from Israeli counterattacks, the Palestinian Health Ministry reported Saturday.
