    This seems like the perfect advertising pitch for Comac. “Buy our planes, they stay in the air, we screw the doors in all the way, and we won’t come steal them from you”

      Near as I can tell, Iran sold the plane to Venezuela in 2022, but it has been grounded in Argentina since then [for some reason I don’t quite get]. Argentina is trying to score brownie points with the US, so they handed the plane over to Washington, and that’s how we got this headline.

        Was grounded in Argentina for the crew of this cargo plane raised suspicion for both being double of the people needed to operate a commercial cargo flight and that half of the Iranians were part of the Iranian liberation army. This was sold from Iran to Venezuela while both are having an embargo of US products where commercial transactions involving US products has been suspended.
