      Some people have said exactly that to me. I don’t have any tattoos myself but I have not a single care if someone does have them.

      It’s a somewhat common phrase used particularly by christians. It originates from this bible verse (1 Corinthians 6:19-20)

      “Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.”

      The verse refers to avoiding sexual immorality, but I have heard Christians apply the verse to tattoos several times too lol. Some of them don’t like tattoos for some reason 🤷‍♂️

    Them: My body is a temple

    Also them: smokes, drinks a lot, overweight, hates healthy food, loves V8 engines with crazy polluting exhausts, barely exercises.

      Well…. This is the inside of the temple. So all you have to do is tattoo the inaide of your body and boom absolved of any crimes against god.
